March 2010 Concert Event with Orrin Star!

    Acoustic Productions is proud to present Orrin Star, in concert, Friday, March 28th in Macon, GA.   The event will be a house concert at Joe Cullison's home in North Macon.   The concert will begin at 8:00PM.  Admission is $15.  Reservations can be made by emailing Joe at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or by calling  478-254-2495.   There will be an intermission for coffee and dessert and chatting with Orrin.   Bring your own favorite vintage wine to enjoy during the concert.  Orrin is a great entertainer and will be including a special unveiling of the never before heard "Power Trio" including Orrin Star, Joe Culliison and Jessica Whaley.  The trio will perform a couple of fun tunes including a demonstration of the fun to be had with mandolin rounds.    Seating is limited, so sign up early for another great Acoustic Production!

 Saturday, March 27 - Mandolin Workshop with Orrin  Star in Macon, GA.    Noon - 2PM   Class Focus:   THE BEAUTIFUL KENTUCKY WALTZ : 3/4 time, Tremolo & Cool Chords.  Bill Monroe's Kentucky Waltz is a wonderful tune with a memorable melody and a unique chord structure.  Learning how to play it well (both rhythm and lead) will enhance your sense of  mandolin well-being.   Limited to 10.  $45.  Same contact info as for the concert above.
